Report taken from
BREMHILL View was buzzing on Friday night after a six-goal thriller between Calne Town and Southern League giants Bath City.
The Lilywhites squandered a two-goal lead to draw against a Romans outfit packed with trialists and youth players.
Steve Casey put Calne in front after 20 minutes with a powerful header from Owen Bryan's corner.
The lead lasted just two minutes however as Bath trialist Justin Pritchard pulled the visitors level with a neat close-range finish.
Owen Bryan restored Calne's advantage early in the second period when he controlled a clever through-ball and fired into the bottom corner.
The industrious Gary Banks made it 3-1 to the home side after 65 minutes with a clinical finish after his first strike was blocked by the Bath goalkeeper.
Pritchard reduced the arrears 10 minutes later with a classy strike from the edge of the penalty box.
After a period of sustained Bath pressure, the unfortunate Danny Jones deflected the ball into his own net to gift the visitors a share of the spoils.
